ARENA AR Books are specifically designed by Aptech Limited exclusively for their students. This official application of ARENA converted the existing digital course material into augmented reality powered digital books, to give industry’s best interactive learning experiences. With the help of a simple smartphone pointed at the screen, figures and sketches in a book come to life which can be interacted with by finger movements on screen. This enables the user to understand and absorb the technical & visual aspects in 3D augmented reality as opposed to a static 2D image in a book.
How to Use
- This app will help the user visualize the text learned in the classrooms and textbooks better!
- ARENA AR Books application will only work with the digital books of ARENA (available on Onlinevarsity only).
- Open the ARENA digital books on a computer (available on Onlinevarsity platform), in the books the AR logo will be present on specific images
- Download & open the ARENA AR Books application.
- Open the relevant book tab in the app
- Point the mobile camera on the image (with AR logo) of the digital book & interact with the augment.
- Basic technical specifications needed:
- Platform – Android mobile with a minimum of 2GB RAM (currently not on iOS).
- Mobile Camera - Autofocus camera preferred or manual focusing will be required.
- Requires a persistent internet connection.
- For proper functioning of the app, 2GB of free storage space is required.
